Wadi Bidah Copper Gold project

  • The Wadi Bidah Copper Gold project is a multideposit development focusing  on a cluster of VMS andstructurally controlled gold systems at the northern end of the Wadi Bidah Belt
  • The project is based around a major greenfield discovery made at Hawiah in September 2019 where drilling has delineated a total Mineral Resource of 36.2 Mt (0.82% copper, 0.86% zinc, 0.64 g/t gold and 10.0g/t silver)
  • Maiden Resources have also been declared at the proximal Al Godeyer deposit of 2.0Mt
  • GMCO has recently been awarded the Umm Hijlan/Mamilah Licence to the south of Hawiah, where additional copper and gold Resources are currently being defined ahead of a maiden estimate in H2 2026 This project, when brought into production would be the 2nd largest base metal mine in KSA after the Jabal Sayid copper mine.
Wadi Bidah Copper Gold project – Hawiah
 
  • In 2020 the first drill holes into the project to test geophysical anomalies led to the discovery of the Hawiah sulphide body.
  • Hawiah has since grown to a 36.2Mt copper, zinc, gold volcanic massive sulphide deposit (VMS).
  • The orebody presents as an outcropping gossanous ridge, striking N-S for 4.5km, plunging to the south.
  • The ore body is sub-vertical dipping with mineralisation drill tested to a depth of 735m vertical and remains open.
  • Mining is being designed as a mix of open-pit and underground operations.
  • A PFS was completed in Q1 2023.
  • A 65,000m infill and expansion drilling programme completed in 2024 with an updated MRE.
  • Further MET testing programme is underway to guide feasibility assessment.
Al Godeyer

 

 

The Al Godeyer Licence was awarded in late 2021 where the team quickly tested and defined Mineral Resources at a poorly understood gossanous outcrop.

The Al Godeyer contains smaller Resources than the Hawiah/Umm Hijlan system, but the grades and distance make this an ideal open-pit satellite deposit to the main operations.

Additional geophysical surveying in 2025 has indicated potential strike and depth extensions to the system.

 

Umm Hijlan/ Mamilah

 

  • The Umm Hijlan/Mamilah licence was awarded in early H2 2025 to GMCO after a successful Round 7
    MIM bid.
  • This strategically important licence contains the southern extension of the Hawiah mineralised system,
    with an additional high-grade gold trend known as Mamilah also running through the licence.
  • The objective for the next 12 months is to assess the potential of both the Mamilah and Umm Hijlan
    systems and build towards a maiden Mineral Resource Estimate. The aim is to bring these defined
    Resources up to the Hawiah study level to allow all material to be considered in a single Feasibility
    assessment.

An extensive programme of RC drilling, Diamond drilling and trenching is ongoing to facilitate this.

This will allow for:

  • MRE by June 2026
  • Metallurgical testing to ensure ore processing compatibility between deposits
  • Geotechnical data gathering for mine design
